Janina has been a speech therapist for 19 years (Diploma of Speech therapy in 2004 from Academy for Speech Therapy / Audiology and Phoniatrics in Vienna, Austria).
After working for several years in Austria, Janina emigrated to Australia and received permission to practise as a Speech Pathologist from Speech Pathology Australia in 2009.
Since then, Janina has been working in numerous private practices in Perth (WA) and Sydney (NSW) with the clinical focus of paediatric clients and associated speech and language difficulties.
In Berowra, Janina now focuses on the paediatric population of 1 year to 12 years and on clinical areas such as
Janina delivers speech therapy in English and German. She has been working with many families with a multilingual background.
Janina works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Sunflower Therapy Services.
Outside of work, Janina enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, exploring new locations and making art.

Janina is a Member of Speech Pathology Australia (MSPA). She has held Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status for many years.
The Certification Program is in place to ensure that Certified Practising speech pathologists provide safe, culturally responsive, effective, and evidence-based services. To be eligible for Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status, speech pathologists must meet specified recency of practice (RoP) and continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
